Cloud Operations Engineer

Essential Roles Responsibilities Support implementation and operation of Azure and Private Cloud services Perform standard changes maintenance and monitoring tasks Assist with migrations upgrades and platform improvements Troubleshoot and resolve incidents with support from senior engineers Maintain accurate technical documentation Support service transition and operational readiness Escalate complex issues appropriately Participate in oncall or outofhours support where required Financial Services Regulatory Compliance Follow regulatory and security standards applicable to financial services customers Ensure changes and incidents are documented and auditable Support compliance and assurance activities as required Governance Reporting Maintain accurate records of changes incidents and tasks Support service reporting and documentation standards Adhere to governance and operational processes Teams to Collaborate With Customer Experience Managed Service Platform Infrastructure Teams Quality Security Compliance Build Azure Private Cloud skills Grow fast with experienced engineers Position Specifications Behavioural Competencies - Organisational Behavioural Fit Eager to learn and develop technical skills Reliable and methodical approach to work Strong teamwork and communication skills Able to work under supervision and follow processes Critical Competencies - Technical Fit Essential Experience supporting Azure and/or Private Cloud infrastructure Understanding of Azure services and hybrid architectures Exposure to VMware environments Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts Basic understanding of networking and security principles Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems Ability to follow change and operational procedures Fluent written and spoken English is essential. The role requires the ability to produce auditready documentation and communicate confidently with senior and executivelevel stakeholders Desirable Exposure to Terraform Azure DevOps or PowerShell Awareness of backup technologies such as Veeam or Rubrik Experience in a managed services or regulated environment A well-established international technology services company focused on cloud infrastructure and managed services solutions.
