Técnico/a Preimpresión (Prepress Specialist) – Contrato Temporal

Temporary Prepress Designer Your opportunity This is a temporary position. You will be responsible for performing prepress work to ensure the correct creation of mockups and printing engravings, in line with client requirements and printing specifications. Your work will take into account the existing printing systems within the company. Where you’ll be You will collaborate with the Commercial Service, suppliers, and the printing team in a dynamic environment focused on delivering high-quality results and continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing Receive and analyze client information via Commercial Service in the design database. Communicate the completion of mockups for client approval, as well as any incidents or modifications that need to be incorporated into the original design. Perform prepress work with maximum reliability and the shortest possible delivery time, considering Planning needs. Request the purchase of engravings for new prints. Maintain direct contact with cliché suppliers to provide technical information and track deliveries according to agreed deadlines and rates. Deliver color proofs to the printing team with assigned specifications. Monitor machine job lists to prevent stoppages due to lack of clichés or plates, whether for new jobs, replacements, or incidents. Make necessary design modifications to meet client requirements and inform the NPD department of changes affecting the printing area. Maintain the standard of the design file archive (specifications, mockups, engravings, etc.). Stay informed about technological advances in printing and prepress that may improve the process. What you’ll bring to the role Desirable training in graphic arts or graphic design. Advanced knowledge of Art-pro and other graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Experience handling CTP. Previous prepress experience for offset and/or flexography is desirable. User-level proficiency in Office. Intermediate English. Practical training in job functions, printing technologies, manufacturing process, global vision of company areas, file management, and incident resolution.
