What we look for We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an international project within the private banking and wealth management sector. You will become part of a cross-functional DevOps-oriented team responsible for building and delivering modern secure and scalable digital banking solutions. Hybrid Model in Madrid (3x2) Key Responsibilities - Work collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile team operating under a DevOps model. - Design develop deploy release and monitor high-quality software applications. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Participate in planning backlog refinement and feature definition sessions. - Work closely with Solution Architects to align developments with the organizations architecture strategy. - Contribute actively to Software Engineering communities sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues. - Ensure code quality maintainability testing and adherence to engineering standards. - Promote continuous improvement and ownership throughout the software development lifecycle. Mandatory requirements - Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in enterprise environments. - Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. - Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures. - Strong knowledge of React JavaScript and TypeScript. - Solid experience working with Oracle SQL or similar relational databases. - Understanding of DevOps principles Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD). - Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). - Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments. - Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications and UML. - Experience working within Agile methodologies. - Strong communication skills and excellent English level (written and spoken). - Proactive mindset ownership attitude and passion for software engineering. Nice to have - Experience with Kafka and Avro for streaming and event-driven architectures. - Previous experience in banking financial services or highly regulated environments. - Exposure to cloud-native architectures and modern microservices ecosystems. - Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical communities.
