Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React) - Hybrid

We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an international project within the private banking and wealth management sector. You will become part of a cross-functional, DevOps-oriented team responsible for building and delivering modern, secure, and scalable digital banking solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about software engineering excellence, enjoy working with both backend and frontend technologies, and want to contribute to high-impact products in a fast-paced Agile environment. Hybrid Model in Madrid (3x2) Key Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile team operating under a DevOps model. • Design, develop, deploy, release, and monitor high-quality software applications. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Participate in planning, backlog refinement, and feature definition sessions. • Work closely with Solution Architects to align developments with the organization's architecture strategy. • Contribute actively to Software Engineering communities, sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues. • Ensure code quality, maintainability, testing, and adherence to engineering standards. • Promote continuous improvement and ownership throughout the software development lifecycle. Mandatory requirements: • Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in enterprise environments. • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures. • Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. • Solid experience working with Oracle SQL or similar relational databases. • Understanding of DevOps principles, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD). • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments. • Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications and UML. • Experience working within Agile methodologies. • Strong communication skills and excellent English level (written and spoken). • Proactive mindset, ownership attitude, and passion for software engineering.
