Key responsibilities: 1. Revenue Optimization • Maximize payment revenue and transaction profitability across all PSPs and business units. • Optimize Payment Authorization Rates (AR) by: • Analyzing AR drops, blockages, and traffic distribution incidents in real time. • Implementing dynamic data enrichment to improve authorization outcomes (e.g., 3DS data, network tokens, retry logic, routing rules). • Mapping and evaluating new Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) for adoption and Assessing PSP revenue-boost tools (e.g., smart retries, account updater, adaptive acceptance) for ROI and implementation feasibility. • Build and maintain advanced analytics tooling to support day-to-day operational decision-making (dashboards, alerting, AR/decline-reason breakdowns, per-PSP/per-MID performance views). 2. Account Management — Internal/B2B • Deliver strong internal service quality to Leadtech's business units (b2b), acting as their dedicated payments partner. • Own and proactively manage the payment strategy for each business unit including: • PSP/APM mix recommendations tailored to each BU's traffic profile and risk exposure. • Proactive communication of payment performance, incidents, and roadmap to BU stakeholders. • Coordinating onboarding of new BU payment needs (new MIDs, new markets, new PSPs) end-to-end. • Maintain SLAs and a structured internal communication cadence (regular business reviews, incident updates, escalation paths) with each BU. 3. Team Leadership • Manage, coach, and develop two sub-teams (Revenue Optimization and Account Management), setting individual goals aligned to team OKRs. • Prioritize and allocate workload across both teams based on business impact and urgency (e.g., AR performance/chargeback risk events, PSP incidents, BU escalations). • Act as the escalation point between the two teams and other Payments & Risk functions (Risk Analytics, Finance, Partnerships, among others). • Report team performance, blockers, and roadmap progress to the Payments & Risk Manager. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination • Partner with Risk & Compliance on chargeback programs (e.g., card-scheme merchant monitoring programs) that intersect with AR and routing decisions. • Coordinate with the external payment orchestration partner and PSP account managers on technical implementation of routing, enrichment, and APM integrations. • Ensure Revenue Optimization initiatives and Account Management commitments stay aligned (e.g., a routing change proposed for AR gains is vetted with the affected BU before rollout). Success Metrics / KPIs • Payment Authorization Rate (AR) uplift, overall and by PSP/BU. • Check out rate uplift • Revenue captured from newly integrated APMs / PSP performance tools vs. cost-benefit projections. • Internal SLA adherence and BU satisfaction scores (Account Management). • Time-to-resolution for AR incidents and traffic distribution issues. • Adoption and usage of analytics tooling by internal stakeholders. Required skills: Experience • 5+ years in payments, fintech, or e-commerce, with at least 5+ years in people management roles • Hands-on experience with PSPs (Stripe, WorldPay, Adyen, PayPal, or similar), authorization optimization, and payment routing/orchestration. • Experience working with or managing internal stakeholder relationships (account management, BU partnership, or similar internal client-facing role). • Practical experience with payment orchestration — routing logic, enrichment, multi-PSP setups — Skills • Strong analytical skills: comfortable building and interpreting AR/decline-reason models, cost-benefit analyses. • Working knowledge of APMs, tokenization, 3DS, and dynamic routing/data enrichment concepts. • Proficiency with data/reporting tools ( Excel/Sheets, BI tools such as Qlik/Tableau, Power BI). • Excellent communication skills in English • People management: goal-setting, coaching, prioritization across a small team.
