Business Operations Manager Barcelona, Spain | Full-time | Office-first About the team The Merchant Care Business Operations team sits at the heart of how SumUp supports millions of small businesses every day. We're a data-driven, cross-functional team focused on making Merchant Care run smarter — through process improvement, performance tracking, and operational planning. This role is a real opportunity to get hands-on experience across a broad operational landscape early in your career, working alongside experienced colleagues who'll support your growth from day one. What you'll do • Monitor and maintain Merchant Care performance dashboards, turning data into clear operational insights • Support and manage small-to-medium projects end-to-end, collaborating with teams across Revenue Operations, Data, and CRM Operations • Identify process inefficiencies and contribute ideas for improvement across operational workflows • Prepare structured reporting and analysis to support decision-making by Merchant Care leadership • Work closely with external business process partners to ensure alignment on operational goals You'll be great for this role if… • Experience working with data in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, reporting, and data manipulation • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and translate them into practical recommendations • Comfort managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate • Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to explain operational concepts to non-technical colleagues • Fluency in English, both written and spoken Why you should join SumUp • 🌎 Opportunity to work with SumUppers globally on large-scale fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our Barcelona office.
