Automation Technician

About the role: You will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic and programmable logic controller (PLC) systems. This includes final assembly and installation of equipment on site, initial testing and debugging of interfaces and communications, and supporting projects from installation through to completion of the commissioning phase. You will also help develop and troubleshoot our varied controls and automation processes. Responsibilities -Install, test, commission and troubleshoot electrical, electronic and PLC systems. -Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and electronic equipment. -Fault find and implement program modifications across a range of PLC, SCADA and robotics systems. -Complete quality inspections to ensure work is delivered to a safe standard. -Create and document standard operating procedures, keeping accurate records up to date.
