Coesia operates in 34 countries with 21 different companies and employs over 8,000 people as of 2026. About the Role We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our organization in Spain. The role reports directly to the Divisional HR Director and functionally to the Volpak CEO, acting as a strategic partner to the business, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR initiatives aligned with both local and group strategies. The role coordinates a team of 2 resources and supports a population of approximately 260 employees in Volpak and around 30 employees in the Spanish entity of another Coesia company, FlexLink, collaborating closely with Coesia HR. Main Responsibilities: • Strategic Partnership and Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on organizational and people-related matters. As a member of the Leadership Team, actively contribute to the definition and execution of the company’s strategy, acting as a close business partner. • Workforce Planning and Talent Management: Lead and implement workforce planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent attraction, onboarding, development, engagement, and retention. Drive talent development and learning initiatives to build organizational capability, in alignment with group programs. • HR Operations & Governance: Implement Group HR initiatives in alignment with Coesia policies, standards, and guidelines. Coordinate payroll, administration, and core HR processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Ensure full compliance with Spanish labour law and internal policies. • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations topics, including maintaining constructive relationships with Employee’s Work Council. Foster a positive work environment and sustain high levels of employee engagement. • People Management and Coaching: Coach and support managers to strengthen leadership and people management capabilities. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Central Functions and Finance on budgeting, workforce costs, and HR-related financial planning and control. What You Need to Be Successful • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field • Proven experience as HR Business Partner or equivalent role, managing all core HR processes in a multinational group • Solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and employee relations practices • Demonstrated experience managing relationships with Unions • Experience coordinating or leading small HR teams • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities, paired with active listening and open-mindedness • Strong analytical mindset and business acumen, with a pragmatic approach and a high level of accountability • Ability to work in a matrix and international environment • Fluency in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus Our Offer The package includes a fixed salary from €75,000 per year, complemented by an annual bonus and company car.
