About the Role As a Senior Mobile App Developer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Allgon's mobile applications. The role is primarily focused on iOS development but also includes contributing to Android development when needed. Based at our office in Malaga, you will work according to a hybrid working model and collaborate closely with colleagues across the R&D organization and product management. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Android applications using Kotlin and related technologies. • Participate in technical design discussions and support the implementation of application architecture. • Ensure high software quality through code reviews, unit testing, UI testing, and adherence to development best practices. • Contribute to continuous improvements in application performance, usability, security, and maintainability. • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes. • Participate in requirements analysis, effort estimations, and sprint planning activities. • Create and maintain technical documentation related to mobile applications and development processes. What We’re Looking For We are looking for a structured and experienced mobile app developer who enjoys taking ownership and turning complex requirements into reliable, user-friendly solutions. You have a strong analytical mindset, a quality-focused approach, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across functions and locations. To thrive in this role, you are communicative, proactive, and comfortable contributing in an international environment where teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are key. Key qualifications include: • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, including 3–5 years of hands-on iOS development using Swift. • Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, Cocoa, and CoreData. • Experience working with Git-based source control, modern development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build and release processes. • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable technical solutions. • Understanding of application data synchronization, backup, and offline data management. • Fluent in English. • Experience with Android/Kotlin, REST APIs, Bluetooth, IoT, or connected-device solutions is considered meritorious.
