Senior Deployment Maintenance Engineer

At Vionvision.com leader in instore analytics and Smart Retail IoT Solutions we are looking for an experienced technical professional to be responsible for the end-to-end configuration customer deployment validation and ongoing maintenance of our AI-based smart retail and analytics solutions. The portfolio includes PoE/Wi-Fi smart sensors and edge computing devices with deployments in Spain and major European markets. As the main technical point of contact on customer projects you will be responsible for ensuring delivery quality driving operational efficiency and supporting the expansion of our business in Europe. Main functions Lead the client deployment configuration and commissioning of AI-powered smart cameras edge computing devices and associated network infrastructure. Execute system integration tests commissioning validations and formal customer acceptance processes. Take responsibility for post-deployment maintenance incident resolution and problem diagnosis in installed systems. Collaborate with local installation partners and global R+D teams to diagnose technical faults implement solutions and minimize downtime. Independently manage small and medium-sized delivery projects definition of implementation plans milestone tracking scope control risk management and coordination with clients subcontractors and global internal teams. Provide technical operation and maintenance training to customers operational teams and local service partners. Develop and maintain standardized deployment documentation operation manuals and a regional knowledge base. Collect direct customer feedback product improvement proposals and relevant market and competitor information to support local adaptation of solutions. Provide technical support in pre-sales demonstrations and solution validation processes when necessary. Requirements Must have University degree or higher education in Computer Science Electronics Telecommunications Automation or a related engineering discipline. Strong networking skills including PoE Wi-Fi and TCP/IP as well as experience in edge computing and hardware commissioning. More than 3 years of practical experience in technical deployment field service or maintenance of systems in sectors such as IoT video surveillance artificial vision or technology applied to retail. Professional level of English both for communication with international teams and for the writing of technical documentation. High problem-solving skills autonomy and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel in client environments. Availability for occasional trips in Spain and/or the EMEA region. Nice to have Previous experience in people counting systems retail analytics or video surveillance projects. PMP/PRINCE2 certification or demonstrable experience in technical implementation project management. Knowledge of regulations applicable to installations prevention of occupational risks and construction or construction environments in Europe. Knowledge of other languages will be particularly valued in order of priority Mandarin Spanish French German or Italian. Experience in training or monitoring junior profiles. Solid basic knowledge of Linux including common commands for file management process checking log viewing and network incident resolution.
