About Us: We are a well-established, boutique English academy located in the vibrant neighborhood of Son Ferriol, Palma de Mallorca. We specialize in providing high-quality English language instruction to a diverse range of learners, from young children (ages 4 and up) to adults. A key focus of our curriculum is equipping our students with the skills they need to succeed in Cambridge English examinations. The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic, native-level English teacher to join our team for a 9-month permanent contract (fijo-discontinuo) running from mid-September to mid-June. This position consists of 20 teaching hours per week, with a convenient four-day schedule from Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Enjoy your three-day weekends exploring Mallorca! Key Responsibilities: • Delivering engaging, high-quality English lessons during your contracted hours. • Planning and preparing classes adapted to various age groups and levels. • Assigning and grading homework and regular assessments. • Evaluating student progress and writing up termly reports. Compensation & Perks: • A secure 9-month permanent contract that includes full Spanish Social Security coverage. • A starting gross salary of €1,100 per month (salary may be adjusted upwards depending on your qualifications and prior experience). • Generous paid time off, including two weeks over the Christmas holidays, one week during Easter (Semana Santa), and all local/national bank holidays throughout the academic year. • A highly organized, supportive, and welcoming workplace where teachers are valued. Candidate Requirements - to be considered for this position, applicants must have: • Native-level fluency in English. • A solid academic background. • A recognized TEFL certification (such as CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or an equivalent qualification). • Proven experience teaching English in a traditional classroom environment. • Prior experience preparing students for Cambridge English exams. • The legal right to live and work in Spain (EU citizen or valid work visa/TIE). • At least two verifiable professional references. • A clean background check/police record providing clearance to work with minors.
