Purpose of the role Localization at TVT Media contributes to our clients’ success by understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations. We also engage and support the best linguists around the world to provide the highest quality localization for our clients’ content. This Localization Project Coordinator role will be part of our round-the-clock operations team supporting our clients’ localization projects as well as our translator pool and will provide a key learning platform for candidates keen to enter the localization industry. We are looking for an experienced and proactive individual to work within a fast-paced environment with responsibilities including handling project assignments, liaising directly with our clients and linguist support. Principal Duties • Coordinating the translation and QC subtitling projects for high-profile streaming clients • Being part of our 24/7 round-the-clock team providing production and linguist support, liaising with other team members based in Singapore, LA and London offices • Troubleshooting issues with our linguist team and escalate urgent enquiries to clients • Ensuring our projects are delivered on time and to expectations • Driving process optimization within the team to ensure our workflows are as streamlined, efficient, and as effective as possible. • Please note that this is a work from home location role Mandatory • Extensive experience in at least one of the following workflows is mandatory: • Subtitling • Translation • Dubbing (preferred) • Audio Description (preferred) • Live broadcasting • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Fluency in English • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work well under pressure and able to prioritize and pivot accordingly • Pro-active mindset and able to work well within a global team environment Preferred • Relevant working experience in the localization and/or media industry • Relevant experience with subtitling / closed captioning • Previous experience with project management software • Fluency in a second language other than English • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in localization or language studies Role: Contractor Expected working hours: 40 hours per week Salary range: Depending on experience Schedule: • 7 day working week shift pattern Location: • Work from home remote location
