What will be your role? We are seeking a hands-on Label Converting Equipment Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and support of advanced converting equipment used in RFID labels, apparel labels, and related products. This role will be responsible for machine design, process development, troubleshooting, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement of converting operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with web handling, die cutting, laminating, vision systems, sensors, and industrial automation. What will your responsibilities be? Design, develop, and improve label converting equipment and processes. Lead machine commissioning, validation, and production startup activities. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues to maximize uptime and yield. Work with automation systems including PLCs, servo drives, sensors, vision systems, and HMI interfaces. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external equipment suppliers. Drive productivity, reliability, and quality improvements through data-driven problem solving. Support global manufacturing sites with equipment deployment and technical expertise. What profile do we need? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field. Experience with converting, packaging, printing, labeling, or automated manufacturing equipment. Strong understanding of web handling, die cutting, laminating, tension control, and machine automation. Experience with PLC-controlled equipment, servo systems, and industrial vision systems preferred. Proven ability to lead equipment development projects from concept through production. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building world-class manufacturing equipment and solving complex automation challenges in a fast-paced environment.
