Junior Food Technologist

AgroKybele Europe S.L., a company dedicated to the import, export, and distribution of functional food ingredients, offering technical advice to the food industry and supported by internationally renowned experts, is seeking to incorporate into its Spanish team a Junior Food Technologist for a technical sales position. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Food Technologist who is passionate about the food sector and eager to grow professionally. The role includes a structured internal training program and ongoing support from the Technical Sales Director. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who want to build a solid career in technical sales within the functional food ingredients industry. Responsibilities: • Actively manage the commercial and business development activities, identifying opportunities and expanding the assigned client portfolio. • Promote and sell the company’s product portfolio, offering customized technical solutions adapted to each client’s food processing needs. • Act as a key link between customers, and R&D teams to ensure successful product positioning and project execution. • Work closely with customers during product approval processes and manage technical follow-ups. • Gather market intelligence to support product development and new applications. • Coordinate with the technical and logistics teams to ensure proper implementation of solutions and customer satisfaction. • Prepare technical reports and related project documentation. • Participate in national and international fairs and events to support brand visibility and market positioning. Requirements: •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry or a related field. •Knowledge of functional food ingredients, preferably hydrocolloids and preservatives system with a commercial mindset. •Knowledge of food industry operations and food processing techniques. •Strong commercial orientation and ability to translate technical knowledge into commercial value for clients. •Excellent communication skills both oral and written. •Advanced level of English (min B2) and Spanish. •Availability to travel. • Residence in Málaga or willingness to relocate.
