Full Stack Engineer with AI — On-site in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Imagine writing code ten minutes from the ocean, in a city with mild weather all year round and a lower cost of living than most major European tech hubs. We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join our team on-site in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. If you're based in mainland Spain or elsewhere in the EU and open to relocating to the Canary Islands, we support you through the whole process — housing, NIE, empadronamiento and a dedicated contact during onboarding. About Lasting Dynamics We're an independent software company, founded in 2015 and built without external investment. We grow through long-term partnerships, not high-volume delivery — many clients come to us after unsuccessful outsourcing experiences and stay for years. We build complex web and mobile products for international clients, with a strong focus on quality, accountability and solid engineering standards. We're now scaling the team and integrating AI more deeply into how we work. The role You'll work across frontend and backend through the full lifecycle: from understanding product requirements and discussing architecture, to building features, reviewing code, improving performance and maintaining production-quality applications. Our stack is modern — React, Node.js, TypeScript and cloud-based environments. It's a fit for someone with 3+ years of experience who wants to move beyond pure execution, take on more ownership and grow as an engineer in a team that takes quality seriously. How we use AI AI is already part of how we build. You'll use Claude and GitHub Copilot — both provided by the company — for coding, refactoring, debugging, documentation, test generation and technical exploration, and we're exploring agent-based workflows for repetitive tasks. The principle: engineers stay directly responsible for the code they ship. AI raises productivity and quality, it doesn't lower the bar. What you'll do • Develop and maintain production-ready web applications, frontend and backend, for international client projects • Take part in technical discussions, architecture decisions and system design • Write clean, testable, maintainable code and review for quality and clarity • Collaborate with designers, product owners and other engineers • Help improve our workflow, engineering standards and internal processes Must-have • 3+ years building web applications across frontend and backend • Solid modern JavaScript/TypeScript; React, Node.js or similar • Good grasp of clean code, testing and maintainability • Comfortable using AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude or similar) • Drive to take ownership and grow over time • Good professional English — our working language for meetings, code and documentation • Valid right to work in Spain or the EU (or clear eligibility to obtain it) Nice-to-have • System design basics and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) • Experience on international client projects • Interest in AI, LLMs, automation or autonomous agents What we offer • €32,000–€48,000 gross/year, based on experience, autonomy and fit • Full-time, on-site role in Las Palmas with a long-term perspective • The stability of a bootstrapped company (founded 2015, no external investors, no layoff cycles) • Real production projects for international clients — not internal demos • Company-provided AI tools: Claude and GitHub Copilot • A structured engineering culture with room to grow into ownership and architecture • End-to-end relocation support: housing, NIE, empadronamiento, a dedicated onboarding contact • Life in the Canary Islands: ocean, year-round mild climate, an international environment and an affordable cost of living Job Type: Full-time Pay: 32,000.00€ - 48,000.00€ per year Experience: • work: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
