Computer Science Teacher

We seek a highly qualified and visionary Computer Science teacher with an unwavering passion for developing innovative learning through nurturing problem solving, inquiry, and technology skills. You will inspire and guide our students in learning and growth, fostering their passion for learning and creating an engaging and dynamic classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: • Be a contributing member of the team of innovative and reflective practitioners. • Prepare top thinkers to excel in problem solving competitions. • Teach classes of Computer Science and some lessons of Mathematics if required within the timetable. • Foster a passion for learning and expand knowledge and understanding in Computer Science. • Shape and implement a pioneering approach to education in these fields. • Create an environment that nurtures a spirit of inquiry and creativity. • Nurture students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, international competitions and research projects. • Ensure true subject mastery and excellence in curriculum design. • Develop strategies to help talented students perform outstandingly in all academic and extracurricular activities. • Be actively involved in the co-curricular activities of the school. Qualifications and Experience: • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. • Hold a Degree, Masters or Doctorate in a Computer Science or an appropriate Mathematical field. • Strong experience in international schools, with experience of teaching the British Curriculum. • Strong knowledge of, and experience in nurturing inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills, and their application in real-world contexts. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills. • Accomplished in using technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching. • Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in Computer Science pedagogy.
