Chef / Sushi Chef

Hinoki Japanese Kitchen & Sushi is opening in Muelle Uno, Málaga Marina, and we are looking for chefs and sushi chefs to join our new kitchen team. We are looking for motivated professionals who take pride in quality, presentation and consistency. Our menu will include sushi, poke bowls, wok dishes, Japanese inspired dishes and seasonal specials. Responsibilities: • Prepare and present dishes to a high standard • Work with sushi, hot kitchen and preparation areas • Maintain quality, consistency and cleanliness • Follow hygiene and food safety standards • Work closely with the kitchen team and management • Help create a positive and professional kitchen environment We are looking for someone who: • Has previous experience in a professional kitchen • Has experience with sushi, Japanese food or Asian cuisine • Can work well under pressure • Is organized, reliable and quality focused • Enjoys working as part of a team • Speaks English • Spanish is a strong advantage We offer: • Competitive salary based on experience and position • Hourly pay between €10 and €15 per hour • Tips in addition to salary • Full time, part time, seasonal and long term positions available • Year round work opportunities • A unique workplace in Málaga Marina • The opportunity to be part of a new restaurant from day one To apply, please send your CV and a short introduction.
