Backend Engineer JAVA / Spring Boot

What are we looking for We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer (Java / Spring Boot) to join our team and contribute to the design development and deployment of scalable backend systems in a modern microservices environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot and event-driven architectures using Kafka working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality resilient and scalable solutions. Location Hybrid Madrid Working model 3 days at clients office Sol area next to the underground. Language Advanced English (B2+ / C1 required) Responsibilities - Work together in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric model. - Design implement deploy release and monitor applications participating in pull request reviews - Understand business needs by collaborating with stakeholders across different divisions. - Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions with your team. - Collaborate with Solution Architects to design solutions aligned with overall architecture standards. - Actively contribute to engineering communities sharing knowledge and best practices. - Deliver high-quality code aligned with company guidelines and standards.
